Falkirk were out for revenge after losing out on promotion to Raith Rovers last year by a single point. The away side had multiple new signings on display, but it was Raith who opened the scoring after 10 minutes through Quinn Coulson. Falkirk bounced back and goals from Callum Morrison and Anton Dowds had the visitors in front at the break.
Six minutes after the interval a foul on Regan Hendry resulted in a penalty which he converted to bring the home side back level. A second from Anton Dowds and further goals from Aidan Connolly and Aidan Keena had Lee Miller and David McCracken’s men back in front at 5-2.
Leitch replaced Callum Morrison and finished off the scoring for the day. After a nice bit of link up play on the right-hand side, Robbie finished into the bottom left hand corner to give Falkirk their sixth of the afternoon and a comfortable victory.
