We are delighted to announce Lee Ashcroft’s move to Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle on a two-year deal. Lee joins up at Firhill with Kris Doolan’s squad ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
Ashcroft moves onto the next chapter of his career having just left Dundee, where he played 110 times for the club scoring on 13 occasions. In his first season at Dundee, Lee won the Andrew De Vries Player of the Year Award and the Players Player of the Year Award for the 2020/2021 season as the club were promoted to the Scottish Premiership via the play-offs. In the 2022/2023 season, he was a regular in James McPake’s side playing 34 league games that season as the club won the Championship title.
Lee brings experience with him having also previously played for Kilmarnock, Dunfermline and Raith Rovers on loan last season.
Now at the age of 30, the central defender is looking forward to the challenge ahead with his new club and can’t wait to get started.
Everyone at Superior Sports Management wishes Lee well at Partick Thistle!
