Larne have been drawn against Finnish outlet HJK Helsinki in the UEFA Champions League Qualifying First Round after the draw was made in Nyon, Switzerland earlier today.

Shaun Want and Larne will kick off their European adventure against Helsinki on the 11th/12th July with the return leg to be played a week later on the 17th/18th July. The winner will progress to the second qualifying round to face Norwegian side FK Molde.

The Irish Premiership champions come off the back of a remarkable season under boss Tiernan Lynch where the were crowned league champions for the first time in their 134-year history as a 2-0 win over Crusaders gave them an unassailable 12-point lead at the top.

Larne will look to go one better this year after coming up short against St Josephs in the Qualifying First Round last season.
