Larne bowed out of the Champions League at Solitude last night with pride still intact after a battling display saw the Invermen come back from two goals down to force extra time.
Already a goal down going into the game they fell 2-0 behind in the tie before a stirring second half produced goals from Lee Bonis and Joe Thomson to force an extra 30 minutes.
The Finnish Champions claimed the decisive goal in extra time and advanced with an aggregate score of 2-3. They will now progress to host Norwegian side Molde next week in the second qualifying round. As for Want who claimed the man of the match on the night and Larne, they will travel to Albania next week to visit Ballkani in Round 2 of qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
