We are delighted to announce that Dundee goalkeeper Harrison Sharp has signed a new deal at the club until the summer of 2027.
Harry who has been a part of the Dundee Academy where he was a regular starter, went on to make his first team debut in the Scottish Challenge Cup against Elgin City during the 2019/2020 season.
Harry has gone on to play 34 times for the Dee and started as the club’s first team goalkeeper under Mark McGhee in the 2022/2023 season while in the Scottish Premiership. The following year, Sharp extended his contract by a further two years and joined Dunfermline Athletic on a season loan where he made eight appearances under former Dee manager James McPake.
This season the 23-year-old has competed alongside teammates Jon McCracken and Trevor Carson for the number one shirt as the club look to avoid the drop from the topflight under the leadership of Tony Docherty.
On signing his new deal Harry said, “I’m delighted to get the contract signed. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Dundee and it’s great to know the manager trusts me with my new contract.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to work hard and help the team whenever I am selected. Hopefully we can kick on and have a strong end to the season and finish on a high. I have been at the club a long time and I really appreciate what the club have given me and hopefully I can repay them with my hard work.”
Congratulations on your new deal Harry!
