Player Biography

Hamish joined Peterhead in March last season initially on loan from Scottish Highland League side Inverurie Locos. The 24-year-old did not take long to adjust to the step up of the SPFL and netted 4 goals in 11 games for the Scottish League One club this season.

A pivotal part in helping the Blue Toon finish seventh in Scottish League One last season, Ritchie was a standout at Balmoor Stadium in the closing months of the season. After what was an impressive short-term loan, Peterhead boss Jim McInally signed Hamish on a two-year contract in the summer of 2021.
