Congratulations to Falkirk defender Ryan Williamson who has been named in the latest picks for the SPFL Team of The Week. The full-back has caught the eye with his quality displays this season despite Falkirk’s slow start to the new league campaign.
Williamson claims his spot in Team of The Week after an outstanding performance on Saturday in which John McGlynn’s men recorded their first league victory of the season against Peterhead at the Falkirk Stadium.
A superb run and finish from the full-back saw him single-handedly erase a 1-0 Peterhead lead at crucial juncture in the game just before half-time. His rampaging up the wing was a staple of the match as the home side went on to claim the win.
