Calum Ferrie has this week been named in the SPFL Team of the Week with Albion Rovers’ Charlie Reilly chosen as the Star Man.
The Spiders saw their six-game winning run in the cinch Championship come to an end at the weekend, but they remain unbeaten in seven matches and kept a third consecutive clean sheet thanks to Ferrie’s outstanding saves. Inverness had seven attempts on target in the Highlands and Ferrie repelled all of them.
Queen’s return to the Caledonian Stadium this Saturday as they make back to back trips north, this time in the Scottish Cup Fourth Round. Following their Scottish Cup tie, a trip to Dundee awaits on the 28th of January, a game Owen Coyle’s side will be keen to win to keep the gap at the top of the league from the chasing pack.
