Booth 29, is hopeful that Sunday’s visit to the National Stadium is more memorable than his last after being part of Hibernian’s 2012 Scottish Cup Final squad in which they suffered a 5-1 defeat to their Edinburgh rivals Hearts.
However due to the ongoing coronavirus restrictions, the left back is hopeful that the team can still bring success to their thousands of fans who will be unable to attend the game and instead will be watching from home.
“It is about a year since we played in front of fans which is crazy to think about, but, with all the doom and gloom, it would give the fans and full city a huge lift if we could win the trophy.
“Obviously, it is not going to be the same without them being there, but fans have probably had to adapt to it as well.
“It will mean as much to us as players and fans, although we won’t be able to share it with them on the pitch if we do win it. But we can really raise the spirits with a good result.
