Everyone at Superior Sports would like to congratulate Callum and St Johnstone on their Betfred Cup success.
St Johnstone won the Scottish League Cup for the first time in the club’s history this afternoon after Shaun Rooney’s header in the first half earned cup final success for the Perthshire side.
Defender Callum Booth, who previously made an appearance at Hampden Park in 2012 when he was part of the Hibernian squad which lost 4-1 to Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final, won his first major cup final in his career at 29.
Booth who has played a pivotal part under Callum Davidson this season spoke of his delight of winning the Betfred Cup for Saints after the full-time whistle.
“It’s unbelievable. We knew it was going to be a tough game, but the boys wanted it so much and to be able to lift this trophy just shows the work the boys have put in all season.
“To be a part of it is amazing, from start to finish we were brilliant and with everything that’s going on just now hopefully this can put a smile on the faces of our fans who I’m sure were watching from home.
“Obviously from a personal point of view this is without doubt the biggest achievement of my career. I have been here with Hibs before and it did not go well so to come back with Saints and lift the cup has been such a special moment for me.
Everyone at Superior Sports would like to congratulate Callum and St Johnstone on their Betfred Cup success.
